In the 37th edition of Brazilian Wave, published in October and November 2011, a Canadian magazine focused on Brazilian things, with texts available in English and Portuguese, Bonito was featured in the section of tourism.
Written by Bianca Sala, the story "Bonito: Natural Water Playground" talks about the natural beauties of Bonito, one of the most important ecotourism destinations and well structured in Brazil and compares the region do the Garden of Eden.
The report highlights the translucent waters of the region and the possibility of diving and snorkeling among fish, animals and underwater flora.
"It`s not just Bonito`s beauty that impresses. Fez ecosystems in Brazil are so well protected", says the author.
Wide choice of activities can be conducted in the region, such as flotation, visits to caves and waterfalls, trails in the Cerrado, the contemplation of local flora and fauna, scuba diving, among others.
The text also mentions some dive spots like Rio Formoso, Rio da Prata, Abismo Anhumas and Lagoa Misteriosa (Mysterious Lagoon).
