Between 27 and 28 October, the Teatro do SESI in Sao Paulo hosted the International Congress of Architecture and Design, an event that brought together authorities in the two areas debating current issues.
One of the highlights was the participation of the architect Ruy Ohtake, who during his lecture explained how architecture and planning can contribute to a more just city.
According to information from the National Insurance Portal (www.segs.com.br), Ruy Othake said:"This happens, for example, through a housing project that we project on the outskirts of Sao Paulo. The inhabitants moved last week. they are apartments with a single criterion for all of Brazil and has apartments of 50 square feet and two bedrooms. it is compact like many others, but built in a round building and totally different, but at the same cost."
Another project that draws attention is the Aquarium of the Pantanal, developed for the city of Campo Grande (MS) and which should be ready in early 2013. The site will submit a summary of fish and species that live in the habitat of the Pantanal. In addition to tourism will be a reference for Brazilian and foreign universities.
